The Storm

I see the black clouds drawing in,
The trees stand still, the wind
Has died now. A storm is coming.

Silence falls, the sun disappears
Behind the clouds, formed over the years.
My cries of anguish fall on death ears.

A storm is coming to thrash inside my mind.
I’m losing control, soon vengeance shall be mine.
A storm is coming to tear apart what remains
Of my soul. I will avenge your memory.

Raindrops fall splashing on the ground.
Thunder claps and echoes all around.
A lightning flash, accompanying the sound.

The wind returns, now a hurricane.
Trees they sway and bend and strain.
Rivers swell, washing away the pain.

A storm has come to thrash inside my mind.
I’m out of control, and vengeance will be mine.
The storm is here, tearing apart all that remains
Of my soul. I will avenge your memory.
